Forgotten Weapons
I noticed that some weapons have been in the game since prophecies, but not always useable.
If you look at the image above you can see a Tattooed Scimitar (nightfall),
a Collosal Scimitar (nightfall), and hammer that can't be found in prophecies (I don't know the name).
There is a sword between the hammer and Tattoed Scimitar which (I believe) is yet to be dropped. It has a resembelance of the Eternal Sword that the Ghostly Hero wields (what's the news with Eternal Swords? Did they all turn out to be fake, I've not heard anything in a while) minus the skin.
Does anyone know anything about this sword? Will this sword ever get featured in-game (I love the skin personally), and what other weapons have you seen yet to be dropped in game.
A lot of questions I know, but I think they should all be put up for discussion.
With EotN being the last campaign/expansion the only chance of this and the "Design a weapon" contest winners have of the items dropping is the Bonus Pack, and possibly an Elite mission from EotN.
Thanks,
Mike.

I think that they updated those weapon racks to have weapons from the new campaigns.

The weapon rack has stayed the same since the beginning.
Colossal scimitar is even featured in the skill "Illusinary Weaponary".
I read a post somewhere on these forums that a lot of weapons and armor were featured in the beta of GW (Silver Eagle Armor inlcuding).
They may all be left overs from beta but it seems a waste to go to the effort of making the model + skin, then not letting anyone use it :/

Where is this? It has the White Mantle emblem, yet it's in Ascalon.

I think it makes sense, that way you can add "new" content without actually working on new content. Player base stagnant while waiting for GW2? Hit a few buttons, bam, "new" weapons.

Valid point, that's pretty much how Sorrow's Furnace worked.

I was wondering when someone would create the monthly weapon rack thread.

Chances are they were all designed in advance, and planed on being released in stages. ie they built all the models for most every sword they planed on making in the first 3 chapters of GW before the first chapter was ever released.
The Tatooed Scimitar and the Sephis blade as well as the Eternal Blade were all pictured in the orriginal Official Game Guide by Prima published in 2005.
Infact the warrior they rendered in one pic is holding a sword and sheild niether of which has been seen in GW.

Well thank you. So... Ascalon City? Fort Ranik? Nolani? Explorable area?? Specificity is appreciated. Obvious-ness is not.

LoL, you don't have to be in District 3.
I'd like to get the non-Eternal Eternal Blade. Looks better than the ghostly version imo.

I think Feminist was being sarcastic as Zeek asked for specificity.

Notes
The Ascalon Maul shares its looks with a type of War Hammer that drops rarely from chests in the Ring of Fire and Sorrow's Furnace.

Lol. True that Savio. These forums get so predictable sometimes.
I wonder when the next "add mounts to GW" thread will pop up.
And Zeek, the guy responding to you was not being snide. You asked where in Ascalon it was.. the guy replyed "Ascalon" which you should have infered to mean ascalon city.
